Lounge Overview — Terminal 3
Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 is home to 14 lounges in total — seven operated by Emirates (First Class and Business Class lounges across all three concourses, plus The Emirates Lounge in Concourse C) and seven independent options accessible via paid entry or lounge programme membership (Marhaba, Ahlan, and Plaza Premium). Every lounge at Terminal 3 operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In addition to traditional lounges, Terminal 3 also offers Sleep ‘n Fly sleep pods, the Timeless Spa, and Game Space DXB gaming lounge — catering to passengers who want rest, relaxation, or entertainment during long layovers. See our things to do at Terminal 3 guide for more on these options.
💡 Best paid lounge: The Plaza Premium Lounge (Concourse A) is consistently rated the strongest independent paid lounge at Terminal 3 — quieter than Marhaba, with family suites, a prayer room, a smoking room, and an à la carte menu with table service. Access from approximately AED 261 (US$71).

What’s Inside Emirates First Class Lounges
Emirates Business Class Lounges
Emirates operates three Business Class Lounges at Terminal 3 — in Concourses A, B, and C. These are among the largest business class lounges in the world. The Concourse A Business Class Lounge alone has seating for approximately 1,500 passengers and occupies almost the entire second floor of the concourse — comparable in size to the entirety of London City Airport.
⚠️ Concourse B Business Class Lounge is currently closed for refurbishment. Business Class passengers departing from Concourse B are being hosted in a dedicated Business Class dining area within the Concourse B First Class Lounge. Emirates Skywards Gold and Silver members travelling in Economy or Premium Economy are directed to lounges in Concourses A and C during this closure.
The flagship Emirates Business Class Lounge. At approximately 17,000 square metres — virtually the same size as London City Airport’s entire terminal — this lounge is more like a quiet private airport than a traditional lounge. Features buffet dining, a health zone, champagne bar, Timeless Spa (charges apply), private showers, and direct boarding to all A gates. Best option in Concourses A.
The Concourse B Business Class Lounge is currently closed for refurbishment. When open, it seats 1,500 passengers, has a champagne bar, Costa Coffee station, health zone, Timeless Spa, and dining. Business Class passengers are currently redirected to the dedicated Business Class dining area in the adjacent Concourse B First Class Lounge.
The smallest of the Emirates Business Class Lounges. Open and fully operational as of April 2026. A solid, quieter option for passengers departing from the C gates. Features buffet dining, drinks, showers, and Wi-Fi.
Paid access to Emirates Business Class Lounges: Economy class passengers can purchase access for USD 150 (USD 125 for Skywards members) for a 4-hour stay or USD 200 (USD 165 for Skywards members) for 6 hours, subject to capacity. Purchases can be made directly through Emirates.
Marhaba Lounges at Terminal 3
Marhaba is Emirates’ own independent lounge brand, available to any passenger regardless of airline or cabin class. It operates one lounge in each of Terminal 3’s three concourses, plus a lounge in Terminal 1 — all open 24/7. Ahlan Business Class Lounges
Ahlan is an Emirates-affiliated independent lounge brand operating three locations in Terminal 3 (one per concourse) and additional lounges in Terminal 1. Ahlan lounges are accessible via lounge programmes or direct payment, and offer a mid-tier experience between Marhaba and the Emirates airline lounges.
Ahlan is generally considered a step above Marhaba in quality, with complimentary showers, conference rooms (charged), spa services (charged), and alcohol. Passengers on Emirates, Qantas, United, Air Canada, and select flydubai flights can access Ahlan lounges.
The best Ahlan location at Terminal 3 — on Level 6, reached via the lift next to the souvenir shop. Offers hot and cold buffet, alcohol, complimentary showers, a conference room (charges apply), spa (charges apply), smoking room, massage chairs, flight monitors, and a prayer room. Stay up to 12 hours.

💡 Ahlan Tip: Concourse A and C Ahlan lounges are the quietest and are the best options for quickly securing a shower. The Concourse B Ahlan lounge, while well-located, can be busier. Access via LoungePair from USD 44 for 3 hours — a fully refundable pass option is available.
Plaza Premium Lounge — Terminal 3
The Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 3 is widely considered the best independent paid lounge at Dubai Airport. Located in Concourse A, it offers a quieter, higher-quality experience than either Marhaba or Ahlan and is particularly popular with families and Priority Pass cardholders who want more than the standard lounge offering.
Accessed via a lift from the Duty Free area, between Gates A2 and A3. The Plaza Premium Lounge offers à la carte dining with table service, a full-service bar with complimentary beer, wine, and spirits, shower facilities, a prayer room, a dedicated smoking lounge, and a children’s play area stocked with wooden toys. Private family suites with butler service are available — a unique feature not found in Marhaba or Ahlan. Access from approximately AED 261 (US$71) per person.
Plaza Premium Lounge Amenities
💡 The Plaza Premium Lounge is the top recommendation for Priority Pass cardholders at Terminal 3 — it is less crowded than Marhaba, offers better food quality with table service, and includes family-friendly facilities. Other Lounges & Rest Facilities at Terminal 3
Sleep ‘n Fly Sleep Pods
For passengers who need actual sleep rather than a traditional lounge experience, Sleep ‘n Fly provides private sleep pods and cabins in Terminal 3. Located in both Concourse A and Concourse B, the pods allow passengers to lie fully flat in a private enclosed space. This is the best option for long overnight layovers when a proper hotel is not worth the cost or effort.
Sleep ‘n Fly can be booked by the hour. Pods include a flat sleeping surface, privacy screen, USB charging, and Wi-Fi. There are also larger cabin options for families. It is a distinctly more comfortable alternative to sleeping on airport seating — and significantly cheaper than the Dubai International Hotel for a short rest.
Timeless Spa
The Timeless Spa is located inside the Emirates First Class Lounges in Concourses A and B. It offers a range of treatments including massages, facials, beauty and skincare therapy, and manicures. Spa treatments are complimentary for First Class passengers; other lounge users can book paid treatments. The spa can be booked at the lounge reception on arrival — no advance reservation is required, though it can get busy during peak hours.
Game Space DXB
Game Space DXB is a dedicated gaming lounge at Terminal 3 Concourse B, located near Gate B27. Open 24/7, it features 40 purpose-built gaming stations with 50-inch screens. It is available to all passengers with a boarding pass and charges by the hour. Popular with passengers on long layovers and a genuine alternative for those who want entertainment rather than food and drink.
Dubai International Hotel
For passengers on very long layovers, the Dubai International Hotel within Concourse B offers room bookings by the hour — making it one of the few true airside hotels at any major global hub. Rooms are available 24/7 at day-use rates. It is a more expensive option than Sleep ‘n Fly but provides full hotel amenities including a bed, bathroom, TV, and room service.
Jumeirah Arrivals Lounge
The Jumeirah Arrivals Lounge is located in the Terminal 3 arrivals area and is open 24/7. It is a premium lounge specifically for arriving passengers — offering a quiet space to freshen up before heading into Dubai. Accessible to eligible passengers and via paid entry.
